Three Dead Five Missing In Helicopter Crash In Rivers State

Three people have died in a horrific helicopter crash near Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and search and rescue efforts are still underway to find the other five passengers.

In a statement released on Thursday, Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development spokeswoman Odutayo Oluseyi acknowledged the event.

Additionally, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) acknowledged the helicopter’s role in its activities in a statement provided by spokeswoman Oluwafemi Soneye.

The NNPC claims that when the helicopter lost touch, it was used to deliver staff to NUIMS ANTAN, its Floating, Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) complex.
